It was with great sadness that on Friday last week, the decision had to be made that Project Street could not continue as it currently exists.  This is due to funding cuts imposed by the Government.  As a result we have had to impose a very small weekly charge and a small annual membership charge to help towards the running costs of our project.  We will continue to seek funding so we can grow the project as we would like, but our focus will be on the 13-19 age group and training for our volunteers as part of their ongoing development.

Recruitment of more young people will be a key driving force for us over the summer holidays, so we can continue to operate from the premises at Dunstable Leisure Centre.

We are closing sessions until further notice and hope to have enough funding to secure our future for another year by 3rd September 2010 when we plan to start again.
